Data is there but not visible in Pendrive

Follow the below instructions.
  • First, remove the autorun.inf file.
  • Click on the below link and download the file "AutorunExterminator"
  • Extract it --> Double-click on "AutorunExterminator" --> Plug your pen drive now.
  • This will remove the autorun.inf files from drives and plug your handy drive to
  • remove the autorun.inf file from it also.
  • [Note: Make sure Dot Net Framework is installed on your PC or click on the below link and download the Dot Net Framework.]


2)
  • Click on "Start" -->Run --> type cmd and press Enter.
  • Here I assume your pendrive drive letter as G:
  • Enter this command : 
    attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
  • You can copy the above command --> Right-click in the Command Prompt and paste it.
  • Note: Replace the letter g with your pen drive letter.
  • Now check for your files.


OR
  • Click on Start --> Run --> type control folders and press Enter.
  • "Folder Options" will be opened. Click on the "View" tab.
  • Now select the option "Show hidden files, folders or drives" and uncheck the checkbox "Hide protected operating system files" --> Click on "OK" button.
  • Now look for your hidden files in your drive.
  • [Note: Later undo the changes you have made by once again going to "Folder Options" --> Click on "View" tab and click on "Restore Defaults" button --> Click on "OK".]


3) After that, download the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from the below link :

Windows cannot install to this disk GPT

When installing Windows on UEFI-based PCs using Windows Setup, your hard drive partition style must be set up to support either UEFI mode or legacy BIOS-compatibility mode.


For example, if you receive the error message: “Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is not of the GPT partition style”, it’s because your PC is booted in UEFI mode, but your hard drive is not configured for UEFI mode. You’ve got a few options:
  1. Reboot the PC in legacy BIOS-compatibility mode. This option lets you keep the existing partition style. For more info, see Boot to UEFI Mode or Legacy BIOS mode.
  2. Reformat the drive for UEFI by using the GPT partition style. This option lets you use the PC’s UEFI firmware features.

    You can do this yourself by reformatting the drive using the instructions below, or if you need to preserve the data, use a third-party utility to convert the drive to GPT format.

Why should I convert my drive?

Many PCs now include the ability to use the UEFI version of BIOS, which can speed up boot and shutdown times and can provide additional security advantages. To boot your PC in UEFI mode, you'll need to use a drive formatted using the GPT drive format.
Many PCs are ready to use UEFI, but include a compatibility support module (CSM) that is set up to use the legacy version of BIOS. This version of BIOS was developed in the 1970s and provides compatibility to a variety of older equipment and network configurations, and requires a drive that uses the MBR drive format.
However, the basic MBR drive format does not support drives over 4TB. It's also difficult to set up more than four partitions. The GPT drive format lets you set up drives that are larger than 4 terabytes (TB), and lets you easily set up as many partitions as you need.
1) Make Bootable Pendrive in from of GPT 
Tools: Rufus
Rufus is a utility that helps format and creates bootable USB flash drives, such as USB keys/pendrives, memory sticks, etc.
It can be especially useful for cases where:
  • you need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
  • you need to work on a system that doesn't have an OS installed
  • you need to flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS
  • you want to run a low-level utility
Despite its small size, Rufus provides everything you need!
Oh, and Rufus is fast. For instance, it's about twice as fast as UNetbootin, Universal USB Installer or Windows 7 USB download tool, on the creation of a Windows 7 USB installation drive from an ISO. It is also marginally faster on the creation of Linux bootable USB from ISOs. 



2)Reformatting the drive using a different partition style

To wipe and convert the drive by using Windows Setup

  1. Turn off the PC, and put in the Windows installation DVD or USB key.
  2. Boot the PC to the DVD or USB key in UEFI mode. For more info, see Boot to UEFI Mode or Legacy BIOS mode.
  3. When choosing an installation type, select Custom.
  4. On the Where do you want to install Windows? screen, select each of the partitions on the drive and select Delete. The drive will show a single area of unallocated space.
  5. Select the unallocated space and click Next. Windows detects that the PC was booted into UEFI mode, and reformats the drive using the GPT drive format, and begins the installation.

To manually wipe a drive and convert it to GPT:

  1. Turn off the PC, and put in the Windows installation DVD or USB key.
  2. Boot the PC to the DVD or USB key in UEFI mode. For more info, see Boot to UEFI Mode or Legacy BIOS mode.
  3. From inside Windows Setup, press Shift+F10 to open a command prompt window.
  4. Open the diskpart tool:
    diskpart
  5. Identify the drive to reformat:
    list disk
  6. Select the drive, and reformat it:
    select disk <disk number>
clean
convert gpt
exit
  7. Close the command prompt window.
  8. Continue the Windows Setup installation.
    When choosing an installation type, select Custom. The drive will appear as a single area of unallocated space.
    Select the unallocated space and click Next. Windows begins the installation.

Why can not we create con folder in windows?

A Reason Behind the Con Folder Creation in Windows

We all know that we can’t create Con, Folder in windows. not only con but also ” PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9 and more”.
Here I am going to explain why you can not create the con folder in windows.

Reason:

We can not create a folder with con, aux, nul because these are reserved keywords used by DOS. so if u r allowed to create such folders, there will be an ambiguity in where to write data when the data is supposed to go to the specified devices. In other words, if I want to print something, internally what windows do is — it will write the data to the folder prn (virtually u can call it a folder, I mean prn, con, etc are virtual folders in device level). So if we are able to create con folder, windows will get confused where to write the data, to virtual con folder or a real one.
